Service to remember the lives of Armenian martyrs of 1915 – Westminster Abbey

On the evening of 28th October, 2015 a special service was held at Westminster Abbey to celebrate the lives of the newly-sainted Armenian Martyrs of 1915.
HRH The Prince of Wales, His Excellency Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, were in attendence.

BCA were called upon to provide a solution to relay live HD footage of the service to multiple screens around the Abbey in order that the congregation could view the proceedings of this special occasion.

Our solution, based upon the clients’ requirements and strict budget comprised of our Panasonic HD-SDI cameras – 4 manned, 4 PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom robotic systems) and 1 static.
All feeds were mixed through our For-A HVS 300HS with Blackmagic Design routing and distribution.

The congregation were able to see all elements of the service on the six, temporarily installed, screens in the Nave along with the live feed sent to the in-house AV system, feeding two LCD screens mounted in the North and South transepts.
